Donald Eugene Gipson passed away May 1, 2021 at age 92. He leaves behind his wife of 71 years Grace Graham Gipson, 3 sons, Michael Gipson, Donald S. Gipson, John Gipson, and 1 daughter Melinda Gipson Bailey.

Don worked for A&P grocery stores for 35 years then co-owned United Super Grocery Stores with his 3 sons before retiring in 1996, He loved hunting, fishing, and working on his vintage cars. Don was a devoted husband and father but his favorite title was PaPa to his 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren who adored him.

Don also eaves behind a sister, Jessie Armstrong and 2 brothers Duane Gipson and Dwight Gipson.

Preceding him in death, his father Dudley Gipson, mother Varie Gipson, 2 brother Eldon Gipson, and Stephen Gipson

He will be greatly missed
