Cayce Lynne Smith

Cayce Lynne Smith, 42, lover of animals, family, friends, and adventures, departed this life to begin a new chapter, leaving behind her beloved “children”, Bourbon and BD, and all who were blessed to know and love her. She was a veteran of the US Navy, having served aboard the USS Bridge during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cayce was a free spirit, who possessed a kind and loving soul and always gave more than she had to give. Always the life of the party, her smile truly lit up the room and everyone was drawn to her. She loved traveling, the Piano Room, animals, family, friends, reading, backpacking, hiking, and lounging in her hammock. A karaoke queen, it was difficult to get the mic out of her hands. She was a consummate teller of tales and often would leave her audience in tears.

We shall celebrate her life on Saturday, August 21, at Dottie’s Country Daisy, 8531 Berry Rd., Bonne Terre, MO 63628. A meal will be served at noon, followed by the memorial service at 1:30.
