Bonnie Dawn Souder

Bonnie Dawn Souder, 56, Prairie Village, Kansas let go of life on October 28, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House.   The three year battle against lung cancer finally wore her out. Bonnie loved her career that included working for Sprint and later for Ericcson. She loved animals, working in her yard and vacationing at the ocean.

Bonnie leaves behind her beloved cat, Joey, her mother and father, Janice and Warren Souder of Merriam, Kansas and her sister Cindi Souder-Thibault and brother-in-law, Alan Thibault of Kansas City, Missouri. The family especially appreciates the gentle and loving care provided to our daughter and sister during the last weeks of her life by Kansas City Hospice and Interim Home Care.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Kansas City Hospice or Wayside Waifs of Kansas City in memory of Bonnie.

No services are planned.

I am at a total loss of words. As I have an uncle going through the same battle as Bonnie went through. I sat next to Bonnie for 2 yrs before moving to other team within Sprint. She was a great person. She always put others before herself. I will truely miss her. My deepest condolences to Bonnie’s family.

I sat next to Bonnie at Sprint for over 2 years. During that time we became very close. Our sarcastic and dry senses of humor really clicked and we had loads of laughs. She regularly put others’ needs ahead of her own. I will really miss her. I am so sorry for your loss.
