Beverly Gaye Hawkins

Beverly G. Hawkins, 60, of Spring Hill, Kansas, died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Kansas City Hospice House. She was born December 28, 1949 in Butler, MO, the daughter of Loren and Ila Baker Hall. Beverly was retired after 37 years with Hallmark Cards and was a member of Unity Church of Overland Park, KS. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, RV’ing, square dancing, Branson, MO and spending time with her family.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Everett Hall. She is survived by her husband Larry Hawkins, children; Jeff Ladwig and Megan Jensen, Overland Park, Brant Ladwig and spouse Sandra Ladwig, Pleasant Hill, MO, Angie Ladwig Miller and spouse Matt Miller, Kansas City, MO, Rose Reed, Overland Park, KS, and Bryan Hawkins and spouse Carla Hawkins, Longview, TX, five grandchildren; Kaitlyn Stafford, Jaxon Ladwig, Victoria Whitebread, Joey Reed and Bailey Hawkins, sisters Bonnie Elliott, Belton, MO and Marlene Cope, Kearney, MO and her beloved dog, Genie.

    I was out of the country and just learned of Bev’s passing. I am so sorry to hear that Bev has gone home. She did everything right and fought a good battle. Please know that if there is anything I can do to help you. You and your family are in my prayers.
