I was shocked and saddened to learn of Dee’s passing. We called him Arch at Kenworth Truck Co. in the late 70’s and early 80’s when we worked there until it closed. I have often wondered how Arch was over the years and am very sorry I didn’t try to contact him. As I read what others say about him, his sense of humor, his love of family and Jayhawks, he will be missed.

Our family’s deepest sympathies to the Harrold family and to all who loved Dee. We cherish memories of the great times our families had together and the dinner “feasts” Dee loved to prepare for family & guests. We loved to hear his laugh–and how it always made us all feel more comfortable. His genuine love for his family, his deep interest in their activities, his eagerness to help a small child–these are memories we will keep in our hearts, of Dee.

Chris, My thoughts are with you and your family. Please accept my deepest condolences. Dee was such a sweet young man and even though years have passed since I knew him, I am sure he was a gentle man.
