Anita Jane (Potter) Hahn


Anita, 06/24/1935 – 12/18/2019, born in Warrensburg, mother to Debora “DJ” Champagne (Independence), Geri Ann Hudson (Washington D.C.) & Lonna Hahn (Tucson, AZ).  Anita studied for her Cosmetology certification and eventually became the owner of M’Lord & M’Lady Hairpieces. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Emerand “Randy” Edward Hahn, son-in-law Richard Champagne, SR. and grandson, Richard Champagne, JR.  She is survived by her daughters, granddaughter Melanie and her husband, David Hickok (Smithville); grandsons Anthony “Tony” and great granddaughter Reighlyn Champagne (Independence), Matthew Hudson (Columbia) and Christopher Hudson (Lee’s Summit).  Anita was blessed with 4 great grandchildren; a half-brother Jerry (Glenda) Potter (Springfield); cousin Russell Berlin (Lee’s Summit), Larry Berlin & Brian Berlin along with friends at White Oak Living Center, Independence, MO.

Anita requested no funeral service.
