    Dear Dodge Family

I read of your loss, and would like to offer my condolences. Recently, I lost a member of my family and I understand the grief and sorrow that you and your family are feeling at this time. Although words cannot fill the emptiness of your loss, I would like to share with you the promise stated at John 5:28,29. ” All those in the memorial tombs will hear his(JESUS)voice, and come out to a resurrection of life..” May I assure you, I am not trying to give or change your religion. The pain of loss is felt, regardless of religion. May you be strengthened and comforted by friends and family during this very difficult time.

Dear Ginny and all of the Dodge Family

I was very sad to see Alan listed in today’s obituary. Allan and I shared nearly every boyhood adventure one could imagine. It’s obvious that he touched many lives in his life journey. We lost touch in our teens after his move from Irving Rd but I had many years since to reflect on what seemed to be endless fun. We fished the banks of “Alllen’s Creek” in Brighton like they were a raging trout stream…. always packing Bee’s and Durston’s missing smokes in our tackle boxes. Our neighborhood was our late night racetrack on our Schwinn’s….zipping from street to street like we were the only two 10 year olds on earth

The Dodge family will always remain very special to me and my days with Allan will be will be some of my fondest……I’ve always felt fortunate to have my slightly older and wiser friend Allan as a neighbor and friend… I will continue to cherish the
memories…..I’m sorry for your loss…I will be thinking of your family and the enjoyment I had in sharing my times at 104 Irving Rd with all of you.

I am happy to have known Allan. I was a nurse on the younger adolescent unit at Rainbow when Allan was the director of the school. He gave me the nickname of Kitty Kat. Didn’t everyone get a nickname from Allan?

I will not be able to come to the funeral because I have to work but your family will be in my thoughts. Hope you have lots of happy memories to share.
