About Us

The Cremation Center is the premier provider of cremation and memorial services in the Midwest. Family owned and operated, the Cremation Center of Kansas City does not require a membership fee nor are there any hidden fees or requirements.

We promise that you will not cross this bridge alone. We will be with you in your time of need, every step of the way.

Regardless of when and where a death occurs, a family member should call the Cremation Center as soon as possible. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We serve the entire Kansas City area and beyond, providing respectful and dignified services. For convenience and affordability, no other cremation service in Kansas or Missouri compares.

  • Crematory Location: Our crematory accepts visitors and allows for public inspection.

  • Witnessed Cremation: Witnessing the beginning of the cremation process offers closure for some people. Any family member desiring to witness this process is made to feel welcome to do so.

  • Restrictions – There are no limitations as to the number of hours or days that we will hold the remains of your loved one before additional charges are incurred. Many of our competitors begin charging “sheltering fees” after 24 hours of holding remains prior to cremation.

  • Additional Charges – There are no additional charges for the cremation casket and the temporary urn, notifying social security, and filing for Veteran’s benefits, or for keeping your loved one a day or two before cremation.

  • References: A reference list of families who have been served is available upon request.

  • Certified Cremation Operators: Our cremationists are certified in the proper use of cremation equipment.

  • Up-Front Pricing: You would think having a General Price List (GPL) would be a requirement to conduct business in the funeral industry … and it is! The Federal Trade Commission requires that consumers be given a GPL as soon as there is any discussion about services, our is even on our website.

  • Identification and Security: We have a procedure to verify the identity of the cremated remains, before, during, and following cremation?
