Sharon Jean Nolte, 65, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away April 12, 2013 at her home under the care of her friends and Sacred Heart Hospice.
She was born September 20, 1947 in Oswego, Kansas. Sharon owned her own business, Nolte Consultations and was a fraud and forgery investigator. She was employed by the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, Arkansas in the 1980′s and for a period of time was employed by Lloyds of London. During her career, she was instrumental in recovering 35 missing children. Sharon was also a licensed instructor for the California Bar Association for fraud and forgery investigations.
Sharon was the 9th generation granddaughter of Tamenand, also known as Tammany, the Delaware Chief who signed the first treaty with William Penn. She was also the 5th generation granddaughter of Captain Ketchum who was the last linear chief of the Delaware Tribe in Kansas and one of the founders of the White Church Christian Church in Kansas City, Kansas.
Sharon will be greatly missed by her many friends and associates.
