I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Bob was a good man. Eve,you & Bob made a great couple. Eve & Penny, I think about you often and remember the good times we had in the Eye Department at KU. If there is anything you need or anything I can do please let me know. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. John Fletcher Says:

I had the pleasure and honor of working with Bob at Taylor Forge from 1975 – 1980. He was an excellent mentor – most of the useful knowledge I have used to further my career came from Bob. Things he taught me years ago are relevant today and I often end discussions “That’s what Lankston told me years ago”.

Bob had a great outlook on life and an incredible sense of humor – I would love to have copies of some of the cartoons he had on his walls. Recognizing, of course, they may not be politically correct in this day and age.

Bob was a great man and will be missed by many, but parts of him will live on through all he touched.

Your family has my deepest sympathy.

    John
