LORI FRAKES-NELSON

May 21, 1973 – February 12, 2017

Lori Frakes-Nelson, Gardner, Kansas passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2017.

Lori is survived by her husband Daniel and three sons: Quade, Keeghan and Creighton, her mother Marilyn Frakes, Gardner and father and wife Wayne & Carolyn, her brother Darin, and sister-in-law Tena, and extended family including many nieces and nephews.

Lori was born in Olathe, Kansas and raised in Gardner and a 1991 Graduate of Gardner-Edgerton High School. Lori was strong-willed, but had a sense of humor, liked kids, crosswords, eating out and spending time with family. She was not fond of winter weather, so a Celebration of Life will be planned when all can enjoy warmer weather.

Marilyn, Daniel, and boys I am so sorry for your unexpected loss. Boys your mother was an awesome woman and you better believe she is watching you kids from up above! I love you guys and if there is anything I could ever do to help you know where I’m at. I’m keeping you kids in my prayers, keep your heads up and keep moving on just like she’d want you to do.
Love ya, Holly, Quinton, and Devon

I wish to extend to the family of Lori my heartfelt sympathy in this trying time. I was Lori’s American history teacher her junior year. Lori was one of a kind and brightened my class immersurably with het wit, irreverant comments, and downright wholesome outlook. I am so sorry at her untimely passing. But rest assured, she will get heaven straightened out. That was her way. RIP Lori.
