James C. “Jimmy” Conway, 45, of Tonganoxie, Kansas, passed away February 9, 2012.
He was born May 30, 1966 in Kansas City, Kansas and lived in the Tonganoxie area his entire life. Jim is survived by his wife Jennifer, one son, Colton, two daughters Dakota and Katherine all of the home, and one step-daughter, Kristi Williams of La Vernia, Texas. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, James H. Conway of Topeka, his father Michael (Micky), Kansas City, his mother Carol Conway, Tonganoxie, one brother, David (Laurie) of Lawrence, Kansas, his in-laws, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews as well as a host of friends.
The family extends a special thanks to Bill and Barb Baker, Jennifer Tate and all the care givers from Crossroads Hospice for their loving care during this difficult time. The family requests no flowers, but suggests memorial contributions be made to Genesis Christian Academy, 204 Washington, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
There will be a private service for Jim following cremation.

I remember Jimmy’s smile. My heart goes out to the entire Conway family. So young to be taken away. My thoughts and prayers have been ascending for peace and understanding for all who loved him. Isaiah 41:10 brings me comfort at times of sorrow.

Words seem so inadequate at a time like this but please know that Jimmy’s entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. I remember the many camping trips our families took together and the fun we had . May you all feel God’s loving arms around you now.
