Ian Jacob Yost

Ian Jacob Yost, 20, of Overland Park, passed away on April 17th, 2017 south of Louisburg, Kansas. 

A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 22nd, 2017 at the fathers’ home. (Further details will be posted to Facebook.) 

Ian was born in Overland Park to Douglas Lee Yost and Lisa Marie Berlowitz December 11th, 1996.  He graduated from Shawnee Mission South.  Proceeding high school, Ian, made the life adjustment to fulfill his identity as Danielle Jenner Yost. She found her time, here, spent reading, discussing philosophy, and expanding her appreciation of music. She was involved heavily in the Kansas City music scene and found herself at countless concerts. 

Danielle (Ian) is survived by her brother Seth Brennan Yost, her mother Lisa Marie Berlowitz, her father Douglas Lee Yost and his wife Lisa Wear, her aunt Deborah Lynn Yost and uncle Tom Neukirch. The family by her fathers’ marriage is as follows: her step-brother Clayton Wear and step-sisters Madison Lancina and Natalie Cleveland along with their families, uncle Ron and aunt Tina Lindig, uncle Paolo Gianotti, and her grandparents Donald Gianotti, Snyder King and Marilyne Cizmich. 

For their influences in Danielle’s life: the Calabro, the Loder, the Schwede, and the Singsaas families all from Nebraska. Jeff Huber of Bloomington, Ind. Howard Nathan of Houston, Texas. 

Per her request, we ask you to remember her by these words, “Veni, risi, abii.” 

“I came, I laughed, I went.”
