Betty Lou Simon, 89, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away November 3, 2012 at Villa St. Francis Nursing Center.

She was born November 9, 1922 in Lockwood, Missouri, daughter of Arden and Fern Andrews Workman. She was a WW II Navy Veteran.

Betty is survived by her sister Peggy Groszek of Olathe.

The family suggests donations to Villa St. Francis, 16600 W. 126th St., Olathe, KS 66062. At Betty’s request, there will be no services.

Both Kansas City area Archdioceses now permit the cremated remains to be taken to the church for the memorial mass. We would be glad to provide you with a copy of the Church’s guidelines for cremation.
